York has recently subscribed to e-books from Springer and Oxford Scholarship Online. I have made all the links available from the Kinesiology research guide.

• Oxford Scholarship Online (great for biology, psychology, neuroscience, mathematics & statistics)

• Canadian Health Research Collection (monograph publications from Canadian research institutes, government agencies and university centres working in the area of health and medical research)

Springer Reference Works

All electronic content (Books, Book series, & Reference) available through Springer EBook search interface offers faceted searching. This means you can limit your search by date, language, subject, author, editor e.t.c. All these faceted search options are available on the right hand side navigation bar on the Springer page. You can download content in PDF, subscribe to Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds for books in specific subjects or any other faceted search option and you can also email or download the list of books/chapter list from the Springer interface (see figure below).
